The origin and the foundation of the earthly life

Origin and development of life
Life began on earth more than 3000 million years ago. Since then single-celled creatures undergo the process of evolution so that the animals and plants that the number and type is very diverse. Based on the calculation of age of the oldest rock findings, the earth is thought to be 4.500 million years old. During the first 1,500 million years, the earth was not inhabited by a single living being. There is no certainty as to how life originally arose. Experts suspect that the early process of life involves water, acid, and other chemical elements; the inorganic chemical reacts and produces self-replicating molecules. The above chemical seeds are thought to originate from space through meteorite collisions or the sharing of light-induced chemical reactions.

Early living creatures
Life molecules evolved into simple single cell life forms, floating on the surface of the ocean. The oldest surviving evidence of life forms is the bacterial and algae fossils in rocks that are 3,500 million years old. From this humble beginning, life branches in many directions. The two main branches are plants and animals.

Evolution
All kinds of plants and animals through a gradual process of change called evolution. The species (species) of plants and animals alive today are the result of the evolution of the earlier, extinct species. The trilobites and ammonites swarmed in ancient oceans millions of years ago. Now only their fossils are in the rocks. The ancient animals were extinct due to changes in the natural conditions around them. Their position is replaced by other species that can adapt to environmental changes.

ADAPTATION
About 500 species of dinosaurs once ruled the earth for more than 160 million years. However, everything is on the loose and leaves only the fossils. Living things always evolved through the process of adaptation. They can adapt because individual life forms have their own unique. Even the same members are different from each other. Thus, as environmental conditions change, as the climate becomes cooler, some forms of life are more able to survive than others. Plants and animals have occupied virtually every environment on earth, from the frozen Polar Regions, the arid and hot desert, to the dark and cold seabed
Ground dinosaurs and giant marine reptiles extinct about 65 million years are rigid. Allegedly, a giant meteorite hit the earth. Dust clouds block out the sun, so that lasts a prolonged winter. Many dead plants, which were soon followed by the extinction of turtle-eating reptiles and carnivorous groups

In the Galapagos (pacific) archipelago from finding the finch birds that originally tended from one species, and now has different beaks. Evolution has adapted the beaks of each species according to their diet
